Holiday Closure

All Hauraki Libraries will be CLOSED from 12 noon Tuesday 24 December 2024, reopening with normal hours from 6 January 2025. All our digital offerings including eBooks, eAudiobooks, ePress (eMagazines and eNewspapers) will be available during our close down period.

Scanning

Scanning to email is available free of charge. Please ask a Staff member for assistance.

Photocopying

Photocopying is available in black and white, and colour.

Photocopying charges vary. For more detail please see our Fees & Charges.

Printing

APNK printing is available. Either log on to a computer with your Library Card Number and Passcode, or a Guest Pass. You can also print from your own device.

Printing charges need to be paid before printing is released. The front desk staff will release printing with your Library Card, Guest Pass or Job ID number.

The library offers large A3 printing on request: please talk to a Staff member to access this service.

Guidelines on New Zealand Copyright Law

The following guidelines come from the PDF formatted Copyright Licensing New Zealand.

  • Users in a public library or document centre open to the public are allowed to make copies using a self-serve photocopier or scanner.
  • Public library employees are allowed to make copies to manage and maintain their collections or for interlibrary (Interloan) lending.
  • There is no time limit on the use of digital reproductions given to people who request them through interlibrary (Interloan) lending.
  • Reproduction limits up to 10% of a document but also an entire article; entire report of a legal case; entire lyrics to a song; a chapter that is not more than 20% of the pages in a book.
  • If you want to exceed the reproduction limits, you will need to seek permission.
