Join us for some wonderful Matariki-themed activities that the whole whānau can enjoy:
Matariki Writing Competition: Let your creativity shine! We're looking for short stories or poems on what Matariki means to you. Open to all ages, with prizes for each age group! The competition is open now until 14 July with winners being announced on Monday 21 July. Collect your entry form from one of our three Libraries - Waihī, Paeroa or Ngātea.
Share your Matariki Moments - Photo Share: How do you celebrate Matariki? Share your beautiful photos with us! Whether it's a family gathering, a delicious hāngī, stargazing or gardening, we'd love to see and share your special moments. Send your photos to hdc-library@hauraki-dc.govt.nz and we will share these with our community here on our Facebook page.
