Working in collaboration with Canine Friends, we are very excited to announce a new Reading Programme for tamariki at Waihī and Hauraki Plains Libraries. Read to Kurī provides an opportunity for tamariki aged 5-12 years to practise their reading skills in a relaxed environment with a canine friend!
Waihī Library: weekly Friday afternoons | 3pm - 4pm
Hauraki Plains Library: weekly Tuesday afternoons | 3:15pm - 4:15pm
Session times run in 10-minute blocks over the hour.
The programme is free to attend but does require booking by emailing us at hdc-library@hauraki-dc.govt.nz or phoning on 07 862 8609.
